Organisation description
he Association of Legal Entities “QazSpirits Association of Producers and Importers of Alcohol and Nicotine-Containing Products” is a non-profit voluntary association of market participants interested in developing a constructive dialogue between industry stakeholders, the government and society as a whole.
The Association was founded in 2018. Today, it brings together 16 producers and importers of alcohol and nicotine-containing products. QazSpirits supports the development of these industries in Kazakhstan by creating a communication channel between business, the government and society, representing business interests in the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, summarising global best practices and involving market representatives in the development of laws, regulations and public policies that affect them.

To promote open communication between business, regulators, lawmakers and society as a whole. To define the goals and objectives of the industries represented by the Association and translate them into specific plans, legislative initiatives, discussions and decisions.
Improving the regulatory system
Improving the regulatory system for the strong alcohol and nicotine-containing products market, with the aim of minimising the social and physiological harm caused by consumption while maximising benefits for consumers and society.
Standards development
Participation in the development of market standards and the regulatory framework, as well as support for creating favourable financial and economic conditions for market participants.
Government relations
Participation in interstate regulatory processes affecting the industries represented by the Association’s members.
Development of initiatives
Submitting legislative and regulatory initiatives to the relevant government authorities.
Objective and high-quality information
Providing objective and high-quality information to decision-makers, market activists, consumers and stakeholders.
Media relations
Shaping a relevant and focused agenda in the media and social networks among all market participants, as well as covering key industry issues in the media.
Responsible consumption
Combining the efforts of the Association’s members in the field of corporate social responsibility to promote a healthy lifestyle among the people of Kazakhstan.
